A list of lists & Prompts!

So if you're here reading this you already know that there will be no Reverb11 as we know it.  Instead, we have a community of bloggers each picking up the torch and creating their own prompts.  I'm going to try to keep a list of links to the various opt-in pages so you can sign up for as many or as few as you like.  At the rate this is evolving, by Dec 1 this could look entirely different than it does tonight.

What is Reverb you ask?  Well... roughly speaking Reverb11 is all about reflecting upon 2011 and then looking forward to 2012.  Through the month of December there will be new prompts posted each night (see below for how to 'sign-up') and in the case of our list that means you'll get an email with the day's prompt sometime in the wee hours of the morning (targeting 01:00 GMT-5).  The prompt will also be posted below.  Once you've blogged/posted/whatever (maybe you express your answer through video, song or photo - it doesn't have to be about writing) then tweet out the address of your post and include the hashtag #Reverb11 - that way we can all find it and read it!  Commenting upon the entries is greatly encouraged - this is all about sharing and building community (well, it is for me).

If you only want one prompt coming into your in-box you only need to sign up for one list.  If you would like to receive multiple prompts per day then sign up for multiple lists.

Day 1 - One Word - Encapsulate the year 2011 in one word. Explain why you’re choosing that word. Now, imagine it’s one year from today, what would you like the word to be that captures 2012 for you?   If you did Reverb10 then bonus points for also re-posting your 2011 word from last year along with how you feel about that in retrospect.

Day 2 - My Children Will Do it Differently - If you could choose one thing that your children will do or experience in a different way than you have, what would it be and why?

Day 3 - A Moment in Time - Tell us about one moment that you lived in 2011 that you will never forget.

Day 4 - Addition through subtraction - What have you let go of this year and how has it affected you?

Day 5 - 5 Things - Describe 5 guilty pleasures

Day 6 - What made you laugh this year?

Day 10 - Beauty - Describe a moment of beauty that you witnessed this year.

Day 11 - What do you wish you had done more of in 2011?

Day 12 - 12 Things - What are 12 things your life doesn’t need in 2012? How will you go about eliminating them? How will getting rid of these 12 things change your life? (Props to original Author: Sam Davidson) If you did Reverb10, how are you making out on your 11 Things from last year?

Day 13 - Fear - What scared you this year more than anything else? Did you learn anything new about yourself?

Day 14 - Gratitude - What five (5) things are you most grateful for from 2011?
